its been a while since i wrote anything , it is nice to feel the way i am feeling now compared to my last weekend ( yeah the worst gastroenteritis ever )
so what about Rebound ?!
a thing i noticed a lot in a lot of people , family , friends even strangers
( after spending some time ) ... when the time passes after seeing a lot of them , you just say ,
this is a typical rebound case .
it starts by
a person being below normal below equilibrium level, Zero level as i call it
( sounds crazy isn't it :D ) lets take an example .
lets say a doctor with high morals highest knowledge all what he does is simply working ... he missed a lot of family occasions putting his medical prerequisites at the top of his list ..
this person although he might be the best in his job is below normal .. his job is abusing him .. :)
so what does all that have to do with " Rebound" ... ?!
it all starts when a friend of this doctor says hey you are not living , hospitals aren't your house my dear friend :) ( trying to help )
then this Doctor starts to climb up from below equilibrium ( below Zero as i call it ) and at a certain point of time he is on the Zero spot he is doing his job efficiently , attending his family occasions , even having some time for being alone with himself ( i believe this is the luxury of time management ) ... good enough ?!
yeah what happens that it never stops there
he always climbs up more reaching to +1 +2 +3 +4 and then rebound phenomena as i call it shows itself up
his job was the top on his list
now people are dying because his job is on the bottom of his list
a lot of people says yeah that's only about the job ,
nope nope nope
believe me when you look around you find it almost everywhere
one of the most common subject is "human relationships"
marriage telling the wife she is being abused or underestimated she should change this ... 6months - 1 year when you look again . now she is the abusive side
in self perception
a lot of people understates themselves
once you tell them " my dear friend you are good enough " or
after getting a prize for a work he did his best for he turns to be grandiose
also this is applied to subjects in your exam
the subject you studied the whole year , you think you know everything about it .. then the rebound comes in and you neglect it and you score the worse in it
so what to do ?!
to me
Stop & Reassess
that's the best way in my point of view you must always stop and Reassess
also when you give some one an advice
don't tell him you are working to much
( cause after reaching the Zero level he will remember it latterly .. specially that his live improved after it )
but it is better to tell him you should balance more between your work and life , you should reassess and re evaluate yourself and capacities from time to time
to some people the Zero point isn't enough in a certain subject in life :)
it what makes us unique .. but i hope it is around +1 or -1
not more than that

don't look too close , after all a Van Gog too close will look just like dots , and you will miss this beauty, you must find the right distance to enjoy it the most

Yes people do have rebound, but is not as easy as you said, or as extreme

I think people who tend to rebound it will change effect whole life not only there job as you mention in your example.
What I agree with you is yes it might be some rebound or lets say they weak up from sleep , then they fix it .
