Medicine ...

I was told , " in the college of medicine you would learn a lot more than just medicine , you would learn a lot more about life " ... naively i said ... really ?!

each day from since then .. i keep thinking of how wise these words were ... although it partially contradict my believes " you can learn about life in every and any time or place or condition ... simply you have to live "

Through this college i noticed a thing ...
The more the humble is the guy ..... the more he is knowledgeable ... & vise versa

The best i knew in biology , bio-chem , hematology , microbiology , anatomy , internal medicine , surgery ... is always smiling and handshaking with the highest respect to his students , patient , co-workers or even the cleaner . & vies Verse ... Arrogant ghosts of doctors

it is simple
the more they know , the more then learn , the more the are certain that they have a lot ahead of them to learn about the more the know how they are unknowlegable and there is a lot further to go through
with each idea , though and knowledge you have the responsibility to improve it and to give it to others ... it is a Legacy .

what bought this to my blog ?

it is a dedication to the patient i 've been seeing for a while . with the tumour ( which thanks god have a curative surgery ) ,, a tough one but there is the hope of a cure ( cure : is the complete absence of a disease in the patient .. so it is the dream of every doctor / doctor-wanna be / or even a health worker )

after wandering for 3 years , a humble knowledgeable young doctor diagnosed and started managing her preparing her for the surgery ( preparation takes almost a month )

then comes the nightmare , the headache , the arrogant doctor , who stops a medication for one single night .... to do a complementary test .

hemorrhagic stroke ... Wiki it if you don't know it ...
Thanks god it is most likely a reversible damage with no long lasting symptoms ( hopefully) .
a 24 years old female ... stroked .

it is one of the few times i said ... oh god why didn't i choose to apply to the college of engineering , and i did mean it .

BE HUMBLE AND LEARN and always ask god to open your eyes to the most important things .. we are humans , we do mistakes but please as a professional do your best to minimize them .
